Amilin (bahasa Inggris: Islet amiloid polypeptide, amylin, IAPPcode: en is deprecated ) adalah hormon peptida hasil irisan proteolitik senyawa prehormon yang disebut pre-prokalsitonin dengan panjang 141 AA yang merupakan ekspresi genetik kromosom 11 gen CALC1, CALC2, CALC3 dan CALC4 pada sel C. Dalam hal ini, amilin secara khusus terpetakan pada berkas CALC4.^[4] Ilmuwan yang lain berpendapat bahwa amilin merupakan zat yang disekresi oleh sel beta bersamaan dengan sekresi insulin,^[5] dan merupakan ekspresi gen dengan lokus 12p12.1,^[6] atau hasil protelitik protein pro-amilin yang disekresi sel beta.

Amilin pertama kali ditemukan pada sel beta kelenjar pankreas,^[4] dan sering dijumpai pada sel beta penderita insulinoma,^[6] dan diabetes mellitus tipe 1.^[5]
