Lee Dong-wook (bahasa Korea: 이동욱code: ko is deprecated ; Hanja: 李棟旭; lahir 6 November 1981), adalah seorang aktor Korea Selatan. Ia terkenal karena peran utamanya dalam drama televisi My Girl (2005), Scent of a Woman (2011), Hotel King (2014), dan Guardian: The Lonely and Great God (2016-2017).
Lee Dong-wook melakukan debut aktingnya pada tahun 1999, dan kemudian tampil di sejumlah serial TV sebelum meraih ketenaran melalui drama komedi romantis tahun 2005, My Girl. Serial ini menjadi populer selama penayangannya baik di dalam negeri maupun di Asia, dan menjadikan Dongwook sebagai sala satu bintang Korean Wave.[1] Sejak itu, ia telah membintangi acara bergenre noir, La Dolce Vita (2008),[2] drama komedi bertema politik, Partner (2009),[3][4] melodrama Scent of a Woman (2011),[5][6] drama komedi romantis bertema bisbol, Wild Romance (2012),[7][8] drama thriller sejarah The Fugitive of Joseon (2013),[9][10] dan drama balas dendam Hotel King (2014), di mana ia bersatu kembali dengan rekan adu perannya di My Girl, Lee Da-hae.[11][12] Dia kemudian membintangi serial aksi fantasi Blade Man dan drama romantis Bubble Gum.[13][14]
Pada bulan November 2011, Dongwook bergabung dengan King Kong Entertainment, yang juga merupakan agensi dari rekan aktor dan aktris seperti Lee Kwang-soo, Lee Chung-ah dan Kim Sun-a.[15]
Dongwook dan komedian Shin Dong-yup dipilih menjadi MC dari acara talk show Strong Heart sejak bulan April 2012 hingga Januari 2013.[16][17][18][19][20][21] Dongwook juga bergabung dengan acara realitas Roommate, yang tayang sejak tahun 2014 hingga 2015.[22][23]
Pada 2016 hingga 2017, Dongwook bersama dengan Gong Yoo, membintangi drama fantasi-romantis karya Kim Eun-sook, Guardian: The Lonely and Great God. Drama ini menjadi populer, dan seiring dengan kesuksesannya, membantu kebangkitan karier akting Dongwook.[24][25][26][27]
