The Odyssey adalah album studio keenam band progressive metal Symphony X, dirilis pada tanggal 5 November 2002 oleh Inside Out Music. Album ini adalah yang pertama dari album Symphony X yang direkam seluruhnya di studio rumah gitaris Michael Romeo, Symphony X Dungeon.^[2] "Accolade II" adalah sekuel dari "The Accolade" pada album The Divine Wings of Tragedy (1997). Judul lagu grand finale album: interpretasi musik 24-menit dari Homer Odyssey, sebuah puisi epik tentang perjalanan Odiseus, pahlawan Yunani Kuno.
