Subjek (musik)

Dalam musik, subjek adalah material, biasanya merupakan sebuah melodi yang dapat dikenal, yang menjadi dasar sebagian atau seluruh komposisi. Dalam wujud selain fuga, subjek dapat juga disebut sebagai tema.
