Stephen Suleyman Schwartz (lahir 9 September 1948) adalah seorang jurnalis, kolumnis, dan penulis Muslim Amerika Serikat.^[1] Ia telah melakukan penerbitan di berbagai media, termasuk The Wall Street Journal.^[2] Ia merupakan direktur eksekutif Center for Islamic Pluralism. Pada Agustus 2011, ia terpilih sebagai anggota Badan Editorial Majalah Folks.^[3]

Ia berlatar belakang politik sayap kiri tradisional, dan jurnalismenya berfokus pada Marxisme, Komunisme dan anarkisme, tetapi saat ini Schwartz menyatakan dirinya sebagai libertarian.^[4] Ia telah mempelajari Sufisme sejak akhir 1960an dan masuk sekolah Hanafi Islam sejak 1997.^[1] Ia mengkritik Fundamentalisme Islam, khususnya sekte Wahabi dari Islam Sunni.
