O Pagador de Promessas (pengucapan bahasa Portugis: [u paɡaˈdoʁ dʒi pɾoˈmɛsɐs], The Payer of Promises^[2]) adalah sebuah film drama Brasil 1962 yang disutradarai oleh Anselmo Duarte. Duarte mengadaptasi permainan latarnya sendiri dari permainan panggung terkenal yang ditulis oleh Dias Gomes. Mengambil gambar di Salvador, Bahia, film tersebut dibintangi oleh Leonardo Villar.^[1]

Film tersebut memenangkan Palme d'Or di Festival Film Cannes 1962,^[3] menjadikan film tersebut menjadi film Brasil pertama (dan sampai saat ini satu-satunya) yang meraih penghargaan tersebut. Setahun kemudian, film tersebut juga menjadi film Brasil dan Amerika Selatan pertama yang dinominasikan pada Academy Award untuk Film Berbahasa Asing Terbaik.
