Jack Thorne FRSL (lahir 6 Desember 1978) adalah seorang penulis naskah dan dramawan Inggris.
Thorne memulai karier di pertelevisian dengan menulis naskah Shameless dan Skins, dan kemudian menulis naskah Cast Offs pada tahun 2009. Sejak saat itu, ia telah menulis dalam berbagai acara TV seperti Glue, The Last Panthers, Kiri, dan The Accident. Ia juga menulis adaptasi televisi His Dark Materials. Thorne telah memenangkan lima penghargaan BAFTA: Best Mini-Series untuk This Is England '88, Best Drama Series untuk The Fades, Best Single Drama untuk Don't Take My Baby, Best Serial untuk This Is England '90, dan Best Original Series untuk National Treasure.[1]
Karya film Thorne antara lain The Scouting Book for Boys, War Book, A Long Way Down, Wonder, dan The Aeronauts. Dia juga menjadi penulis drama yang produktif, dimulai dengan menulis The Solid Life of Sugar Water yang dipuji oleh kritikus,[2] Hope,[3] The End of History,[4] dan adaptasi Let the Right One In di Royal Court,[5] dan Woyzeck[6] serta A Christmas Carol di Old Vic.[7] Thorne juga menulis drama panggung Harry Potter and the Cursed Child berdasarkan cerita asli karya Thorne, J.
