Cupressaceae adalah sebuah keluarga tumbuhan runjung, keluarga sipres, dengan persebaran di seluruh dunia. Keluarga tersebut meliputi 27–30 genera (17 monotipik), yang meliputi juniper dan kayu merah, dengan sekitar 130–140 spesies secara keseluruhan. Mereka merupakan pohon dan semak monoesius, subdioesius atau (terkadang) dioesius dengan tinggi 1–116 m (3 ft 3 in – 380 ft 7 in). Pohon-pohon dewasa umumnya berwarna jingga dan merah kecoklatan dengan tekstur keras.
