Beyond the Wall (Game of Thrones)

"Beyond the Wall" adalah episode keenam musim ketujuh seri televisi fantasi HBO, Game of Thrones, sekaligus episode ke-66. Episode ini ditulis oleh produser David Benioff dan D. B. Weiss dan disutradarai oleh Alan Taylor.

Di luar Tembok, Jon Snow (Kit Harington) memimpin kelompok pemburu yang hendak menangkap mayat hidup (wight) agar bisa dijadikan bukti keberadaan White Walker. Setelah menangkap satu, mereka dikepung oleh pasukan White Walker. Gendry (Joe Dempsie) diminta kembali ke Eastwatch dan mengirim permintaan bantuan kepada Daenerys Targaryen (Emilia Clarke). Sebelum mereka dihabisi para mayat hidup, Daenerys tiba dan mengerahkan tiga naganya untuk membakar mereka. Untuk menghentikan Daenerys, Night King, pemimpin White Walker, melempar tombak esnya ke salah satu naga, Viserion. Daenerys dan kelompok pemburu menyelamatkan diri, tetapi tidak mampu menyelamatkan Jon. Benjen Stark (Joseph Mawle) tiba dan menghadapi serbuan mayat hidup supaya Jon bisa kabur. Jon dan Daenerys saling bertemu. Night King membangkitkan kembali Viserion dan menjadikannya bagian dari pasukannya. Di Winterfell, Arya Stark (Maisie Williams) melabrak Sansa Stark (Sophie Turner) setelah menemukan surat yang dikirim Sansa saat masih kecil mengenai sumpah setia kepada Raja Joffrey Baratheon. Sansa pun menemukan tas berisi wajah yang diambil Arya dari Braavos.

"Beyond the Wall" mendapat pujian dari berbagai kritikus, khususnya dalam hal skala adegan dan efek pertempuran antara White Walker dan naga, interaksi antara anggota kelompok pemburu, dan sumpah setia Jon kepada Daenerys. Beberapa kritikus mengkritik episode ini karena "melawan akal sehat" dan dirasa terlalu terburu-buru.
