Jakarta Aktual – 22 June 2026 | A Flood Watch has been issued across most of the Mid-Ohio Valley, from Monday morning to late evening, due to the threat of heavy rain that could lead to localized flooding. The National Weather Service warns of damaging winds, isolated tornadoes, and flash flooding potential from 3 p.m. through 11 p.m. Monday in the Lehigh Valley region of eastern Pennsylvania. Heavy rain and severe weather threats will be coming to an end this evening, but lingering showers are expected into tonight.
The weather across the New York City area is taking a turn with heavy rain and the threat of strong storms. A First Alert Weather Day is in effect Monday as we track rounds of rain and thunderstorms that could lead to flash flooding, especially later in the day. A Flood Watch goes into effect at 2 p.m. and continues through 6 a.m. Tuesday for New York City and much of northern and central New Jersey.
Widespread heavy rain is expected through Monday morning, with a Flood Watch in place through 7 p.m. on Monday evening for the threat of flash flooding. Rivers, creeks, streams, and roadways may be impacted by flooding and impassable. The expansion of Watch Duty, a fire tracking app, to help monitor dangerous floods comes as peak flash flood season begins in the U.S.
